JOSCAR Accreditation Achieved

Gould Alloys is proud to announce that it has successfully achieved JOSCAR accreditation, marking an important milestone for the business. This accreditation recognises Gould Alloys’ commitment to meeting the rigorous standards required by the aerospace, defence and security sectors, and further strengthens confidence in our systems, processes and supply chain compliance.

This achievement is the result of a significant team effort, led by Martin Pennington, whose dedication and hard work were instrumental throughout the process. Martin worked closely with colleagues across the business to ensure all requirements were met, demonstrating strong collaboration and a shared commitment to continuous improvement.

He adds "This accreditation was very much a team effort. I’d like to thank everyone who supported the process, provided information, reviewed documentation and helped ensure our systems and procedures met the required standards. The collaboration and professionalism shown throughout made a real difference."

JOSCAR (Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register) is a collaborative accreditation system for the UK's aerospace, defence, and security industries, that streamlines supplier qualification by acting as a central database for pre-qualification and compliance information. This makes it easier for suppliers to prove readiness, and for large buyers to manage third-party risk efficiently, saving time and reducing duplication in the bidding process. Congratulations to Martin and the wider team on this well-earned success.
