Strengthening the UK Defence Supply Chain

Gould Alloys to attend DPRTE

The UK defence sector is entering a new era of investment and capability development. With significant government funding being directed towards strengthening national defence and enhancing supply chain resilience, the focus is firmly on delivering programmes efficiently, securely, and at scale.

Against this backdrop, Gould Alloys is pleased to announce its attendance at the DPRTE 2026 - Defence Procurement, Research, Technology & Exportability Exhibition, taking place on 22 October 2026 at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester.

As the defence industry continues to prioritise supply chain resilience, procurement efficiency, and closer collaboration with specialist suppliers, access to trusted materials and reliable partners has never been more important.

Supporting Defence Programmes with End-to-End Metals Solutions

For decades, Gould Alloys has supported aerospace and defence manufacturers with specialist metal supply and value-added processing services. As a JOSCAR-accredited supplier, we work closely with defence primes, integrators, and SMEs to help mitigate supply chain risk and maintain continuity across critical programmes.

Our capabilities include:

Strategic Stockholding

Comprehensive stocks of OEM-approved materials, including:

  • Titanium alloys
  • Nickel-based alloys
  • Aerospace-grade stainless steels
  • Aluminium alloys

With material readily available, we help customers reduce lead times and maintain programme schedules.

Value-Added Processing

Our in-house processing capabilities support customers from raw material through to production-ready components, including:

  • CNC machining
  • Milling
  • Waterjet cutting
  • Near-net shape manufacturing

These services help reduce waste, lower machining costs, and streamline production.

Global Supply Chain Strength

As a founding member of Aero Metals Alliance (AMA), Gould Alloys has access to a network of 14 service centres across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. This global reach provides enhanced sourcing capability, supply continuity, and logistical support for international defence programmes.
